Homework...You can expect that every second grader will be asked to read for a minimum of 10 minutes each day.  Students will complete a log that will sometimes require answering a writing prompt related to the text they are working with.

Tests/Quizzes/Long Term Projects...Tests will receive about 1 week notice.  Quizzes do not have to be announced, but often are at least a day in a advance.  Long term projects will receive at least several weeks notice.
