David Bradler, President

David Bradler has served on the Park Ridge Board of Education since 2019. He is an educator, having taught history for the past 20 years in Leonia. He holds a BA in History, an MA of Education in School Leadership, and an MA of Education in School Counseling. Mr. Bradler has lived happily in Park Ridge for over 15 years with his wife, Linda, and their three children. He has also enjoyed serving this community by coaching softball, basketball, and soccer.

Amara Wagner, Vice President

Amara Wagner has served the Park Ridge Board of Education since 2019. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Baruch College and a certification in Holistic Nutrition from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. In 2006, Amara transitioned from corporate communications for Condé Nast Publications to found a private integrative health coaching practice. Amara has also served on the board of the West Ridge PTO and has volunteered as a “Big” for the Big Brothers Big Sisters youth mentoring program in New York City. Amara and her husband, John, have lived in Park Ridge since 2013 and are the proud parents of two children who attend Park Ridge Public schools.

Natalie Jowett Agoos, Member

Natalie Agoos was sworn in as a Board member in January 2021.  Natalie and her family moved to Park Ridge in 2005. Her daughter, Violet, graduated Park Ridge High School in 2019. Her daughter Emma is a member of the PRHS class of 2022. Natalie has been a class mom and PRAA basketball coach many times over, and in 2011 she helped East Brook students launch their own school newspaper, The Owl Update.  Even before graduating from Columbia University in New York City, Natalie began working as a journalist, first in the New York Bureau of the Baltimore Sun newspaper, then as a production assistant at MSG Network and eventually as a senior producer at ABC Sports and ESPN. International and domestic travel, exposure to different regions and cultures, gratitude for the Park Ridge community and the privilege of a great public school education are all factors that inform Natalie's dedication to serving the Park Ridge School District.

Deborah Clare, Member

Deborah Clare is a former West Ridge 5th grade teacher, and the Technology Teacher at both East Brook and West Ridge Elementary schools. She holds a BS in Elementary Education and an MA in Literacy Education. She was the former President of the East Brook PTO, and a PRAA softball coach. She has resided with her husband in Park Ridge for 38 years, where they have 2 children and 4 grandchildren.

John Pierotti Jr., Member

John moved to Park Ridge in 2013 with his wife, Nichol. Shortly thereafter, they welcomed their son John followed by their daughter Gia. He and his family settled on the east side of Park Ridge, where their children attend East Brook Elementary School. John graduated from John Jay College of Criminal Justice with a bachelor’s degree in Police Science and began his career in law enforcement in 2004. John was elected to the Board of Education in 2019 and was sworn in as a trustee in January of 2020.

Lauren Sum, Member

Lauren Sum is a Park Ridge alumna and was a student of the district from kindergarten until 12th grade. Ms. Sum graduated with honors from Villanova University in 2021, where she studied Communications and Spanish, obtained a minor in Sociology, and specialized in Public Relations and Media Studies. She currently works as a Publicity and Publishing Assistant for Grand Central Publishing at Hachette Book Group. During college, Ms. Sum interned with the United Nations, (RED), and Penguin Random House. Through involvement in her multicultural sorority, she has volunteered extensively with OneLove and It’s on Us, a White House initiative to raise awareness and fight against sexual violence on college campuses. Ms. Sum also volunteers as an alumni facilitator for the annual New Jersey Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership.
