    Welcome to third grade!  This year will be filled with new and exciting things to learn about. 

    I grew up in Park Ridge and have been teaching here for 25 years.  Go OWLS!  My family is very important to me.  We enjoy camping, kayaking, flying kites, and just being together.  I am looking forward to a great year.

  • Valentines

    Third graders will still be exchanging valentines! The general rule is that if you are bringing in valentines, you must bring in one for all of your classmates.

  • Typing

    Try to improve your keyboarding skills by practicing typing 10 minutes a day at least twice a week. Please see the section titled "Cool Websites" to find a typing practice site.

    Homework

    General Format

    1. The reading log should be done nightly and returned on Friday.
    2. Math homework is assigned nightly. Math facts should be practiced nightly.
    3. When sent home, the science/social studies vocabulary cards should be studied every night.

    Please review the planner each day.
    Please empty and review the take home folder each day.
