    Welcome to 2nd Grade!

    I am looking forward to an exciting and successful year with your child!!
    The following information will help you to understand some homework procedures.
    • Please have your child read at least 10 minutes every night. Reading logs should be completed daily but will be checked every Friday.
    • Math homework will be assigned Monday - Thursday and will be a review of that day's lesson.
    • Your child should also review math addition facts to 20. This will enable them to successfully complete more challenging problems.
    • Spelling homework will be assigned in the near future.
    Always feel free to contact me for any reason. Working together, we will make your child's year in second grade a successful one.
