    Sample Mission Statement:
     
    The purpose of the Parent Advisory Committee is to facilitate communication between parents, teachers and the school district on issues of importance to special education. It is our goal to effect positive systemic awareness within our district. By acting as a resource our objective is to support the need for responsible and informed advocacy on behalf of all of our children.
