BEFORE AND AFTERCARE PROGRAM
IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR WEST RIDGE PARENTS!
Due to low enrollment, the West Ridge afternoon EXTRAS program will be closing until further notice. Anyone who is currently registered to attend, will be offered shuttle transportation to the East Brook afternoon program. Parents choosing this option will need to contact Janine Giordano at JanineGiordano@Parkridge.k12.nj.us to make arrangements. No additional enrollments will be accepted. Please note, this change does not impact the West Ridge AM program.

A weekly system is utilized for all EXTRAS registrations. Please make sure you are registered online so that you can utilize the system. You can still mail in checks for payment but you need to use the website to enroll your children for the program. If you are having a problem or do not have access to a computer, please contact either Janine Giordano or Bob Wright.

2020-21 Rate Changes
The impact of COVID-19 has forced the Board of Education to restructure its Before/After School program (EXTRAS). As a result of these changes, it was necessary to modify the way families are charged for the program. Beginning in September, the program charges will be as follows:
Before School $10/day
After School (4:15 dismissal) $10/day
After School Extended (6:15 dismissal) $30/day
Two major differences this year will be that you may either select a Before School or After School program but not both. Also, there will be no discounts for multiple siblings. In addition to these changes, there will be program CAPS placed on each building to ensure that proper social distancing is maintained.
Registration will remain the same with an annual charge of $35 assessed for your first enrollment. You can start signing up for the program for dates through December 2020 by logging in or creating an account at https://register.communitypass.net/ParkRidge.
On behalf of the program we will be extending the time to register for the upcoming week to each Monday until 7a.m.
If your child is not registered by Monday at 7a.m. you will be charged a $25.00 late fee. Any arrangements made after 7a.m. on Monday will be charged a one time late fee for that week.
If you do not tell us by Monday you will need to pay the drop-in fee.

· While you can register your child for as much as a month in advance, you will not be able to receive a refund for any days missed. Although this has always been the case, it will be strictly enforced.
