Welcome to the start of another outstanding school year! The staff at PRHS has been working diligently to prepare for the opening of school and we are very excited to get started. I would also like to take this opportunity to welcome the incoming Seventh Grade Class, the newest members of our PRHS Community!
I am proud of our dedicated faculty at PRHS. It stands out above the rest because of the care and dedication afforded to each and every child. Our instructors provide an excellent support network through open doors and genuine communication. By creating meaningful classroom experiences, our faculty imparts concepts that students can analyze and apply to their personal lives. I encourage you to use your teachers’ knowledge and expertise and continually stay in contact with guidance counselors whenever assistance is needed.
Providing abundant opportunities for the student body in academics, athletics, and the arts is a major goal of our faculty and staff. I encourage every student to take advantage of this fact, to get involved and to participate. This is a great way to become an active member of our school while building relationships and friendships that can last a lifetime. One of the major benefits of a new school year is that it affords everyone the occasion to start fresh and to improve upon past experiences. I challenge our students to recognize this “clean slate” as we emerge from the summer months, to establish the new school year on a positive note and with an upbeat attitude. What better way to ensure the finest, productive year ever.
Demand the best from yourself and from those around you. Strive to be considerate and accepting of others, and you will be pleasantly surprised with what you can achieve. Learning goes far beyond the written words in any textbook. Working together, we will uphold the high standards and values for which our school is noted. We will continue to improve, striving to build integrity and stellar reputations far into the future.
I wish you good luck, personal success, and happiness this year!
